This one of a kind Damascus knife is as much a work of art as it is a functional tool. This high quality Damascus knife will be versatile enough to do everything your next adventure calls for and a little bit more.

This knife started its life as 10 separate pieces of alternating 1095 and 15n20 high carbon steel. That steel was then forged welded together using a large amount of heat and pressure. After the billet became one solid piece of steel it was then cut apart and stacked raising the layer count to 100 layers. The billet was then forged out and twisted to give it a one of a kind look. The billet was then cut in half and stacked on each sides of 1095 carbon steel to give it a mono steel cutting edge making it a Damascus San MaiThe blade. The blade was finally forged into shape and ground to its final finish.

After the blade was hardened and tempering it was time to combine this amazing blade with some handle material. We chose copper for the guard, spacer and pommel. We then added some stabilized green wormy maple. The Orange color in the wood comes from the worms defecation inside of the wood making it truly beautiful and one of a kind. The last addition was the elk antler that was polished to a high grit to give it this beautiful white finish.

We couldn’t be happier with how this blade came together and are excited for you to enjoy this stunning functional piece of artwork.
